The Events Team
The highly experienced Events Team from Galloping Gourmet, will look after every one of your wedding day needs and take away the stress of planning your big-day. You can visit our wedding barn as often as you wish, and ask us as many questions as you like. We never tire of giving advice to our bridal couples.
At Rivervale, we understand how important and unique each wedding day is. That’s why we treat each wedding as a blank canvas, and a new experience, making sure the whole process is as perfect as you’ve ever hoped for.
What we offer:
- Initial meetings and show rounds
- Repeat show rounds for second viewings or family
- As much or as little support as you require throughout the wedding planning process
- A private catering meeting with the head chef to create your perfect wedding day menu
- Liaise with your suppliers on the morning of your wedding so you won’t have to worry about doing it yourself
- Personalised timetable for your day, ahead of the wedding
- On the day coordination and event management, meaning all you have to worry about is having a good time
- Supplier Wednesdays – A chance to book a 30-60 minute slot to look around the venue with your supplier or photographer ahead of your day

SENIOR EVENTS MANAGER
Hayley has over ten years’ experience working with bridal couples and helping to plan and organise the perfect wedding day, her skills also extend to back of house as she spent 13 years as a chef trained to fine dining level. Hayley offers the hands on approach to personalise each wedding. Hayley says "Our job is to exceed expectations and create memories to last a lifetime."
SENIOR EVENTS MANAGER
Michaela has been an Events Manager with Galloping Gourmet at Rivervale Barn since March 2012. Michaela has great passion and understanding for her job which helps turn each couple's plans and ideas into their dream wedding. Michaela really does have a love for all things wedding!
Lynsey has been an Events Manager with Galloping Gourmet since June 2011. Having been a previous bride at Rivervale Barn, Lynsey understands the importance of each and every step of wedding planning and uses her skills and expertise to help plan the most perfect day for the couple.
Having been a Rivervale Barn bride herself in 2015, Lyndsay understands the whole planning and organising process a bride goes through and the expectations that follow on from this. This in turn allows her to guide our couples on a very personal journey and helps them get the very best from the venue, our suppliers and creating a perfect flow of the day.
Sophie has a real passion for weddings and thoroughly enjoys working with our couples. Sophie enjoys taking our couples on their journey from the first planning meeting to the big day. She just loves our motto “Happily ever after begins at Rivervale Barn".
VENUE SALES MANAGER
Sally joined Rivervale Barn with a background in Business Management. As Venue Sales Manager, she loves meeting our new couples and especially enjoys showing them around our beautiful venue for the very first time. Sally is committed to helping couples take the very first steps on their wedding planning journey.
BAR AND DINING ROOM MANAGER
George is our Dining room and Bar manager. Customer service with a smile is everything for George. It’s about forward thinking and embracing our guest’s needs on the day. We strive for perfection and our service is the theatre on the day. The Waiting team look to George for leadership and have a fabulous role model to look up to.
Our Head Chef Michal Banaszek has over 12 years'experience in Michelin and AA rosette establishments. Combining his culinary talents - learnt and developed across many European countries - with fresh, local seasonal produce, Michal and his team are certain to create and deliver the perfect menu for your day.
Pawel is an Italian and Polish trained chef and brings a young vibrant approach to the team. He has a real passion for canapés and his garnish techniques are always a show stopper. Our chefs team work well together and each brings something different to the table. This bond is a real positive and something we embrace.
Jason has a passion for all things food. Having been a chef with Galloping Gourmet for a number of years, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and a fresh approach to our fantastic menu. Jason believes that the wedding breakfast is the most important part of any wedding and so he only strives for excellence in the meals he presents.
